I will keep this post updated with my choice of the top games for Nintendo Wii. The ones I think you should try and will probably like. Of course I haven´t played all Wii games available, so I might be missing some great titles. The list is not ordered.

ATI has an updated version of the driver for the integraded graphic chip Radeon XPRESS 200M. I am very happy about that because, finally, I can play Counter-Strike: Source and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 in wide screen resolutions (848x480 and 720x480) in my Compaq Presario V2665 laptop.
Get the latest driver here: http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/integrated-xp.html
If you have the same laptop I do, check out the other tips: http://doug-not-the-funny.blogspot.com/search/label/computer

I was looking in the internet for the best practices to make my laptop's battery life longer. It is a Compaq Presario V2665 with an AMD Turion processor. It's really hot. I mean, the laptop really gets warm when I am using it.
I went to AMD website (www.amd.com), into the processors drivers and utilities section and downloaded an application called AMD Clock. When I ran it I saw that the processor clock was always on 1.8GHz. I read somewhere that I should update the processor driver, so I did that. At the same page I got the AMD Clock application, I downloaded this driver:
AMD Turion™ 64 Mobile Technology Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (x86 and x64 exe) 1.3.2.16
After installed this driver, ran the AMD Clock application again and now the clock is going down to 800MHz when the processor is not in use. That saves power, which means battery, and heat as well.
If you have a AMD Turion based laptop, update your processor driver right away!
Some basic tips: If you keep running lots of programs, more processing will be required. If you are not downloading anything, shut down your torrent or edonkey software. If you are running on batteries and not using internet, disable the wireless device. Lowering the screen brightness will also save batteries.

Oh, yeah! I got my ticket. Jethro Tull will play in "Teatro Guaira", Curitiba, in April 25th.
Yes, they are another old band like Deep Purple. They are from the late 60´s, too. But someone said: you are never too old to rock´n´roll. ;-)
See you there!

Sitting on a park bench
eyeing little girls with bad intent.
Snot running down his nose
greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes.
Drying in the cold sun
Watching as the frilly panties run.
Feeling like a dead duck
spitting out pieces of his broken luck.
Sun streaking cold
an old man wandering lonely.
Taking time
the only way he knows.
Leg hurting bad,
as he bends to pick a dog-end
he goes down to the bog
and warms his feet.
Feeling alone
the army's up the rode.
Salvation a la mode and
a cup of tea.
Aqualung my friend
don't start away uneasy.
You poor old sod.
You see, it's only me.
Do you still remember
December's foggy freeze
when the ice that
clings on to your beard is
screaming agony.
And you snatch your rattling last breaths
with deep-sea-diver sounds.
And the flowers bloom like
madness in the spring.
Jethro Tull video playing Aqualung.

Let me introduce you to the final project for my graduation, the (Java) MIPS Virtual Machine, a.k.a. JMVM. It is an emulator of the MIPS plataform and it has some special commands to play sounds or graphics. This is the project page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/jmvm.
